Get to Know Bassey Simon
I love helping people, a lot. I have tried many things in the past, but nothing brings me joy and fulfillment like being a part of an accomplishment for a digital project that will change the life of the business owner.
I sometimes speak with some funny accent that may annoy some people, although others find that exotic and refreshing. Regardless, my (accent reduction) mentors (my kids) taught me to speak slowly.
I enjoy road trips and travels generally. My family and I have been to a least 36 U.S states so far, and several countries outside the USA including UAE, Belgium, Germany, and United Kingdom just to mention a few. There are a few more places that are on top of my bucket list of places to visit - Japan, Singapore, and Jamaica.
Enough of me now. Let us talk about why you are visiting with me today.
If you are like me, the whole thing about internet marketing or social media can be very confusing. To be honest with you, six years ago, I used to think that the social media thing was only a playground for young people.
All that has changed over the past two years, as I studied, researched and learned about how businesses and individuals are using that seemingly youthful toy of social media to scale their marketing effort.
When I started reaching out to local businesses, it was clear that many small business owners were in the same situation as I was. Because of this, I have made it my life's mission to help simplify Internet marketing for small business owners.
There is an untapped world of customers out there for everyone. My goal is to help your unique business enter the conversation that is already going on online. I will help you create your unique value proposition, and share that value with your audience whenever or wherever they choose to engage with you - Through your website, their preferred social gathering platform, or by print media. Together, we will design and deliver value to your audience in a way that will position your business as an authority in your locality.
As a business owner, you wear many hats every day. Because of this, your marketing and audience engagement effort does not receive the attention it deserves. Gone are the days where all you needed to do to get your phone ringing was placing an Ad in the Yellow pages.
Today you are supposed to be making sense out of or keeping up with every new marketing tactic out there - landing pages, website optimization, social media management, and Online Reputation and Citation Management. On top of that, you are supposed to be learning the technical jargons of Google or Facebook’s algorithms, or mastering the ins and outs of copywriting that convert.
I get it. These all seem very complicated and time-consuming. The next best thing is for you to put it off, or, you are just pretending that it does not matter to your business.
Maybe it is time for you to rethink that position. Some smart folks conducted in-depth research about online marketing and audience engagement stuff. Consider the following findings regarding just one aspect of the online marketing ecosystem - Reputation Management.
“84% Of People Trust Online Reviews As Much As A Personal Recommendation”.
“54% Of People Will Visit The Website After Reading Positive Reviews”.
“90% Of Consumers Read 10 Reviews Before Forming An Opinion About Business”.
“58% Of Consumers Say The Star Rating Of A Business Is Most Important”.
The above reasons explain why I am so motivated to your business Online Reputation Marketing right.
